Refund Policy

At CALINFI, we stand behind our products and are committed to treating our customers fairly. Because we are currently operating in a preorder model, our refund and cancellation terms reflect the realities of a production-stage launch. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Preorder Cancellation Requests

All current orders are preorders. If you wish to cancel your preorder, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@calinfi.com with your order number and cancellation request.

Cancellation requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate requests received before your order enters active production or fulfillment. However, we cannot guarantee cancellation in all cases, particularly as we approach or enter the fulfillment phase.

Once production or fulfillment of your specific order has commenced, cancellation and refund may no longer be possible.

2. Change of Mind

Because CALINFI operates on a preorder model and production is planned around confirmed order quantities, we are unable to guarantee refunds or returns for change-of-mind requests. We encourage you to review all product information and this policy carefully before placing your order.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

We take product quality seriously. If your ODUN stove arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, we will work with you to make it right. To initiate a claim:

  • Contact us at hello@calinfi.com within 14 days of receiving your order
  • Include your order number and a description of the issue
  • Attach clear photographs of the damage or defect and the outer packaging

Upon review, we will offer an appropriate remedy which may include replacement parts, a replacement unit, or a refund, at CALINFI’s discretion. We reserve the right to request that the defective item be returned to us before a remedy is issued.

Damage caused by misuse, modification, accident, or use in violation of our product instructions (including indoor use) is not covered.

4. Return Shipping

If a return is approved by CALINFI, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your item. Return shipping costs may be covered by CALINFI in cases of confirmed defects or errors on our part. In other cases, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

We recommend using a tracked shipping method for any return. CALINFI is not responsible for items lost in transit during a return.

5. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card provider. We will confirm your refund by email once it has been issued.

6. Import Duties and Taxes

CALINFI is not responsible for import duties, taxes, or customs fees paid by the customer. These charges are non-refundable by CALINFI. If your order is returned to us due to customs rejection or non-payment of duties, we may deduct any return shipping and handling costs from any applicable refund.

7. Contact Us

All refund and return requests must be submitted by contacting us directly. We do not accept returns without prior approval.
