Frequently Asked Questions

The modular cast iron grill is designed for ODUN and ODUN LS. It is not compatible with ODUN S due to the smaller body dimensions of the S model.

The grill is 40 × 40 × 0.8 cm (15.7 × 15.7 × 0.3 in) and weighs 2 kg / 4.4 lb. It features both flat and ridged cooking zones for searing, grilling, smashing, and simmering.

Season the grill before first use by applying a thin coat of high-smoke-point oil and heating it until it smokes. After each cook, clean while warm with a brush or scraper. Avoid soap on bare cast iron. Dry thoroughly and apply a light oil coat before storage to prevent rust.

The cast iron grill sits on top of the ODUN stove body using the modular mounting system. Use the ODUN handle when placing or removing the grill — always use heat-resistant gloves around live fire and hot surfaces.
