Refund policy

Returns, Refunds & Limited Warranty

This policy applies to CALINFI ODUN products, accessories, spare parts, preorder purchases, and support requests unless a product page, checkout term, or written CALINFI communication states a more specific rule.

Preorder cancellations

Deposit and pay-in-full preorders may be cancelled for a full refund until the shipping label is created. Once a shipping label has been created or fulfillment has started, cancellation may no longer be available and the return or damage process below may apply.

Unused returns after delivery

If your product has been delivered and remains unused, you may request a return within 14 days of delivery. Returned products must be unused and returned with the original included parts and packaging where possible. For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing an included item, contact hello@calinfi.com within 14 days of delivery. Include your order number, photos or video of the issue, and photos of the packaging condition when relevant.

ODUN is a modular, multi-part product. When an issue affects a replaceable part, CALINFI may resolve the issue by sending the affected replacement part first. If part replacement is not appropriate, we will help arrange the next available solution, which may include exchange or refund depending on the issue.

1-year limited warranty

CALINFI products are covered by a 1-year limited warranty against eligible manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. To submit a warranty claim, contact hello@calinfi.com with your order number or proof of purchase, product/model name, a description of the issue, and photos or video when relevant.

This limited warranty is intended to cover eligible defects in materials or workmanship that prevent normal approved outdoor use of the product.

Warranty exclusions

This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cosmetic heat discoloration, tarnishing, patina, surface marks from normal wood-fire use, surface rust that does not affect structural function, paint or coating cosmetic changes from heat exposure, misuse, modification, improper storage, weather or water damage, salt-air exposure, incorrect fuel, accelerants, chemical fire starters, failure to follow the user manual, indoor or unventilated use, unsafe shelter setup, blocked chimney use, poor clearance, failure to follow carbon monoxide precautions, impact damage, or thermal shock.

Painted ODUN models require a first-burn curing process before cooking or regular use. Damage or cosmetic changes caused by skipping or incorrectly performing the first-burn process are not covered by the limited warranty.

Glass and pizza stone parts are covered for eligible manufacturing defects or damage on arrival. Damage caused by impact, thermal shock, moisture exposure, improper heating or cooling, incorrect installation, outdoor storage exposure, or misuse is not covered by the limited warranty.

Refunds

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method where possible. Timing depends on Shopify, the payment provider, and the customer bank.
