Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the CALINFI website and store. By accessing or using our website, placing an order, or engaging with our content, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. About CALINFI

CALINFI is the maker of the ODUN outdoor wood-burning stove system. Our products are designed exclusively for outdoor use only. CALINFI operates its online store through Shopify and ships globally to customers who preorder our products.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting our website, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and that you agree to these Terms of Service in their entirety. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and users of the site.

3. Preorder Nature of Purchases

All orders placed through the CALINFI store at this time are preorders. This means:

  • Your payment is collected at the time of order to secure your place in the production queue
  • Products have not yet been shipped at the time of purchase
  • Estimated shipping timelines are communicated in good faith but are subject to change without notice due to manufacturing, logistics, or other factors beyond our control
  • CALINFI does not guarantee a specific delivery date
  • You will be notified by email with updates on production progress and shipping status

By placing a preorder, you acknowledge and accept this arrangement.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on the CALINFI store are in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but any change will not affect an order that has already been confirmed.

Payment is processed securely via Shopify Payments or our designated payment processor at the time of checkout. CALINFI does not store your full payment card details.

International customers are responsible for any currency conversion fees charged by their bank or card provider.

5. Order Cancellations

Once an order is placed and payment is processed, cancellation is not guaranteed. We review cancellation requests on a case-by-case basis. Once production or fulfillment of your specific order has commenced, cancellation may no longer be possible. Please contact us promptly at hello@calinfi.com if you wish to request a cancellation, and we will do our best to accommodate you before that stage.

6. Import Duties and Taxes

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. CALINFI has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. We recommend checking with your local customs authority prior to ordering.

7. Product Use

ODUN stoves are designed and intended solely for outdoor use. Use of our products indoors or in enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces is strictly prohibited and may create serious health and safety risks. By purchasing our products, you agree to use them only as intended and in accordance with any instructions provided.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the CALINFI website—including but not limited to the CALINFI brand name, ODUN product name, logos, product images, videos, copy, and design elements—is the proprietary intellectual property of CALINFI and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of this content without our express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CALINFI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website, products, or services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.

CALINFI is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, shipping carrier delays, or government actions.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. While we stand behind our products, we make no specific warranty representations beyond what is stated in our Refund Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in good faith through direct communication between the parties. If resolution cannot be reached, the parties agree to seek mediation before pursuing other legal remedies.
